Our Story – Flame Broiler Is Dedicated To Serving You with Delicious, Fast, And Healthy Food!
Founder -Young Lee, who had recently graduated from UCLA having a degree in economics, had joined the workforce and often found himself on the road. However, he found that restaurants serving healthy meals were few and far between.
First Restaurant Opens – Entrepreneurial in general, in 1995 he opened the initial restaurant in Orange County that served simple, healthy fast food. What better method to solve an issue rather than solve it yourself?
Started Franchising – Word about the healthy food and quick service at Flamebroiler, and Young quickly became extremely busy. He created a very broad customer base. The widely loved concept appealed to a lot of differing people.
Giving Back towards the Community – Mr. Lee started to give back by feeding the homeless, and shortly begun to sponsor children in need of assistance. He or she is dedicated to sponsoring 2 children per location that opens. Today, through Flame Broiler Inc., Mr. Lee sponsors an astounding 338 children.
180 Locations & Growing – Words continued to spread, and also the founder saw franchising as a way to provide even more people with a healthy option to fast food while maintaining the top level of service. And so the story continues today with 180 Flame Broiler Restaurants in California, Arizona, Florida, Nevada and Oklahoma.

The restaurant’s main offerings include bowls that are either veggie or have meats within it like beef or chicken. Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at just 140 calories. The bowls are produced with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and busvqj with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce.
